Programmable LEDs, like the popular WS2811and WS2812B, have revolutionized what makers can accomplish without spending a huge amount of money. These work great with dev boards like those made by Arduino, Adafruit and others, but what if you want a dedicated board that controls LEDs over WiFi, and has a simple I2C sensor interface?
The ANAVI Miracle Controller provides just that, and uses an ESP8266 module to simultaneously drive two 5V or 12V LED strips. It also has a dedicated slot for an OLED I2C display, and room for up to three I2C sensor modules. UART Pins are broken out if you’d like to add custom software, and there’s even a extra GPIO pin available for connecting other peripherals.
The board is compatible with the Arduino IDE, PlatformIO, Home Assistant, and OpenHAB using MQTT. Given these features, and a nice screw terminal setup for LEDs, the ANAVI Miracle Controller could be perfect for home automation or other interactive lighting tasks. It runs on an Arduino sketch using the FastLED library, and is compatible with WS2812B, WS2812, WS2811, TM1804, and more LED types.
