RIA in a Box, a provider of compliance software for the wealth management industry, has announced a new API for the company’s MyRIACompliance platform. This new tool aims to streamline integration with third-party portfolio management system data.
In the announcement of the new API, the company noted that the increased efficiency provided by this API will ensure that compliance requirements are addressed quickly. By integrating with the MyRIACompliance platform, third-parties will now be able to relay notice filings (a document that the SEC requires advisors to file with state securities authorities) and registrations in real-time.
GJ King, President of RIA in a Box noted that:
“By unveiling this API, we invite other leading technology providers in the industry and even RIA firms themselves to push data into our system to save compliance officers time and create deeper integrations within the tech stack.”
The new open API is free of additional charge to RIA in a Box customers. Public documentation does not appear to be available, but RIA did publish an about page for the API. Developers can request additional information directly from the company.
